1. What you can't store with us?
ANSWER: Items that should not be stored in self-storage containers include;
- Flammable or explosive items.
- Perishable items such as food.
- Pets or animals.
- Illegal items such as stolen goods, substances, firearms.
- Human or animal body parts.
- Plant life
2. Can I drop off my items to you?
ANSWER: Absolutely, just book our service and we will be waiting to assist you when you arrive.
3. Is there a time limit to storing with us?
ANSWER: Nope, we can store for as long as you need. Please note, if you have selected a long term storage plan for a reduced rate and vacate early, you will be charged the normal rate for the entirety of the storage period.
4. What we charge for collection?
ANSWER: ur charges vary depending on which service you select, for example if you select pallet box storage, the transport, vehicle and fuel is free but we charge an hourly rate for the driver and loading. If you have selected a pod then you require a minimums for a driver and a porter.
5. an you pack for me?
ANSWER: Yes, all our staff are fully trained packers.
6. Can you deliver my stuff somewhere else?
ANSWER: Yes, if local and within our operating area we charge the hourly rate. If you're moving a long distance we can provide a quote.
7. Can i add more to my pod/s at a later date?
ANSWER: Yes, free of charge, just give us 5 working days notice, if you need us to do it for you there will be an hourly charge.
8. How do I pay for my storage?
ANSWER: Every four weeks we send you an invoice.
9. What if I need to get something out of storage?
ANSWER: LJust give us 5 working days notice and select the service you require. You can come and collect or we can deliver in different ways.
10. What is pallet box storage?
ANSWER: Basically it's a very large double walled cardboard box which sits on a standard euro pallet for ease of transport and loading/unloading.
11. I'm moving to a different university, can you send my pallet box directly there?
ANSWER: Yes, we will charge you for the pallet and box and have it sent directly to you. You will need to take delivery of the pallet box yourself. We recommend flat packing the box and storing for your next move.
12. What is single item storage?
ANSWER: Something that doesn't fit into our storage pods, like a 4 seater sofa, which is too big. Or you simply may not need too much space, we can give you a price per item to keep your costs down.
